Average retail prices for all eight of the major fertilizers were lower the second week of July 2017 compared to a month earlier, with anhydrous and urea seeing the biggest price declines.
December corn was 3 cents higher, November soybeans were 7 cents higher, and September Minneapolis (HRS) wheat was 5 cents lower.
The cattle complex should open with a firm undertone thanks to follow-through buying and technical buying. Similarly, lean hog issues seem likely to begin with at least moderate gains, supported by bull spreading and short covering.
